Wisconsin state contractor license board

When it comes to going green, especially utilizing solar energy, California leads the nation. Our solar industry is booming. In our ongoing effort to protect California consumers, CSLB has identified some of the worst unlicensed violators who are known to prey on vulnerable and unsuspecting homeowners when they are seeking contractors for new home or home improvement projects.

Complaints against the following unlicensed individuals have been lodged with CSLB, law enforcement agencies, and district attorneys around the state.

Seniors are a particularly vulnerable audience, often preyed upon by unlicensed or unscrupulous contractors. CSLB will resume offering these seminars as soon as health concerns subside. Individuals with the above conditions are strongly encouraged to seek vaccination with a primary health care provider or system, or in an alternate clinical setting. Additional ways individuals can find appointments are through pharmacies, local health departments, community pop-up clinics, online at MyTurn.

In particular, healing arts licensees must adhere to the current federal and state prioritization standards for allocating and administering COVID vaccines in phases.

For more information, please see the Vaccine Distribution Guidance document. Renew License or Registration. Apply for a License. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected.

If your company is not certified, please review the following documents to apply for certification. Please access the links on the DFD Single Prime Bidding and Contracting web page for more information about how projects will be let under the new system. Please be advised that contractor certifications are only valid for a two year period. Please update and resubmit your application at least 2 months prior to your certification expiration date to allow sufficient time for processing a certification decision.

All bids received from contractors who have an expired certification will be rejected. If you have any questions, please email us at: dfdcertification wisconsin.
