Head to the northeast to the 3 wood cages. Rescue the kingdom's villagers that are locked in cages. Choose 1 peasant to level up to a craftsman. Use that one to do picking up jobs and to read the blue books to gain points. Once he is a craftsman, he can go to the cages and open them. Two villagers will be available to work but they need homes, and one wants his potatoes back.
Recover the 4 stolen seed bags. Refill the kingdom's treasury of gold. Rebuild the kingdom's army population to Build up the citizen population of the kingdom to You will need to upgrade the castle Needless to say, this will be a long, ongoing quest. Trigger this quest by heading over to her island due west of the castle black arrow Rescue the stranded citizen by building a bridge to the island she is on.
To unlock the bridge building, you'll need to build a blacksmith first to upgrade the lumber camp. You will need a craftsman to build the blacksmith. You do not need to staff the blacksmith though. Upgrade the lumber camp by clicking on the building and clicking on the upgrade button. Go to the store page, upgrades section, and buy the lumber camp upgrade and while you are at it get the hut upgrade. An upgraded hut costs less than building a new one. Build a bridge to rescue the stranded citizen, who is actually already a craftsman.
Provide the king with 30 food for his grand feast. Hunt for rabbit and collect 8 rabbit chops. Hunt deer and collect 6 deer flanks. Hunting tip: If you can't find the animal you are looking for, just hunt the others to depopulate the area so the desired animal can come back. Catch 5 fish for the king.
Fishing works just like hunting except a villager has to do it. Soldiers won't fish. Also you will need to pick up the fish when you catch it. Fish will come back to the same area after a bit. After you get all the food, talk to the king again.
He will then want some boar meat, which will then trigger the Boar Poacher quest. A traveling bard has arrived in town looking for an adventure to write about Place gold in your caste's treasury to lure out the Great Barbarian and fight him Be sure you have enough soldiers to fight off 4 barbarians, who will come from the east.
Be sure to save before you deposit the gold, and consider un-employing your soldiers and move them to the castle. Merchant Trade is triggered when you come near to the "store.
Complete the Traveling Merchant's tasks and he will reward you with items from his shop. Collect 5 carrots for the merchant trader and he'll sell health potions 75 gold to you. Anyone can pick them up; just look in the grassy areas. Hunt deer and collect 6 pieces of meat in exchange for straw bundles. Catch 8 fish to unlock magic beans. Collect 8 bird feathers, which are dropped when an archer shoots down birds, to unlock training dummies.
Collect 3 barbarian helmets to get a chest for a scholar to open. It's best to just not pick up items that look interesting until there is a call for them. If you don't, you might already have the helmets just lying around.
Boar Poachers quest will be triggered after you have gathered the food for the King's Feast and then spoken to the King. He will ask for boar meat. Just south of the merchant, you will see a giant plant blocking the way to the right red arrow. Use your archer to kill the plant.
Use an Archer to find and investigate the 3 dead boars Finish the deer hunting portion of the Merchant's Trade, if you haven't done so already.
Find the 5 traps and drop straw bales in them. Recover the king's crown from the barbarian camp. This quest will be triggered when you get to 6 soldiers. It is a good idea to not do this quest with more than 6 soldiers as you will have to feed them. Build the cage that will trap the barbarian.
You will be instructed when and where to build the trap, but it is to the west of the merchant. Just bring a Villager or your Hero over to the pile of wood and they will build it. Trap a barbarian to learn the secret location of their camp. You can do so by engaging the enemy and then running back to the cage where he will get caught. You will have to do this twice. You can find enemies to the south.
You will then be offered the opportunity to do a side quest of King's Heirloom. You will want to do this before you get too many soldiers so they won't get too hungry. King's Heirloom quest is listed below. Save before you start. Don't forget to make combat units for this level. It makes it a lot easier. You will need to find your own food in this level. There are 3 Wooden Towers that you can get control of to get the food in them.
One is blocked by vines and the other 2 you just need to get to. You will also need to pick up food and hunt a bit. You will find lots of locked gates. You will receive a hint to where it is located when you first approach the gate because it will tell you what the picture is on the gate and the game will tell you what color key you need.
You will then find the key in area that has something to do with the gate picture. If you are having any trouble look at the map. You will see circles with the location of the key and the gate they go to. You will also be rescuing 1 Soldier and 1 Archer. You will need the Archer to get one of the keys by shooting the birds that are circled in Purple. Be sure to take this opportunity to get XPs for your soldiers. If you get the opportunity to level up a Level 2 Soldier you might want to wait until you get back to build an Archery Camp.
Once you have opened all the chests available, you will need to defeat the Dark Knight and his group to get a chest with the crown. You can return at this point or pick up more gold and treasure before returning. King's Crown Sidequest Map.
This quest is triggered after you build a bridge to the west and walk toward the poor fellow in the stocks. Send a Craftsman to let him out. You now need to get to the special stone in the South that is being blocked by a Giant. First build housing for the mason so he won't To open the gate to where the Giant is, you will need to buy a Magic Bean from the Merchant and to do so you will need to complete the fish catching quest.
Once you have a Magic Bean you will carry it over to the gate to drop it and knock the block up top onto the pressure plate see green square Enter the gate and defeat the Giant. Send a Scholar to open and thus remove the chests.
Build a Quarry by the rocks, and the Cottage upgrade will be unlocked. This quest is triggered the first time you pick up a marble and is completely optional. It just goes toward earning a trophy. There are 13 marbles and you can find them circled in blue on the map. You will NOT be able to finish this quest until you have unlocked that Masonry and Stone Bridges in Kingdom 2 There is one marble in the water that you will not be able to get to unless you destroy bridges.
After you finish the King's Crown quest, the Barbarian Invasion will occur. You will be attacked from different edges of the Kingdom see red triangles You will need to destroy the 5 sets of Barbarians and their catapults. After the Barbarian Invasion is complete, the King will want you to build 3 towers. He tells you where to put them but if you can't figure it out, look at the red stars on the map.
Quest is trigger by approaching giant flower in west that is blocking the way to the Drawbridge ruin. Send an archer to remove the flower. Send soldiers to remove the vines Send a scholar to the ruin. Bring 3 wall pieces to the ruin see yellow triangles on map You will then need to find the Drawbridge Scrolls, which are located in the ancient library ruins in the south see yellow square. You will need to remove the stone after you get past the vines and flower to uncover a chest, which requires a Scholar to open it Click on the ruins to upgrade them.
You will then need to find the 4 Drawbridge Pegs see yellow stars You will then need to send a higher level character to open the drawbridge. After retrieving a Drawbridge Peg, this quest will be triggered. An earthquake will happen that is actually a Giant. Send someone to talk to him.
He needs a Blacksmith to remove a thorn from his foot He then needs new shoes, which will require 2 vines, 3 straw bundles, and 4 deer hides deer hunted with Archer. The Giant will then help you get the Drawbridge Peg that is up high. After you have completed the Tower Defense and Ancient Drawbridge quests, you will be asked to take a Royal Letter to the next kingdom.
Go to the King and pick up the letter and cross over the drawbridge to the north. After completing the River Crossing quest, you will arrive in Kingdom 2. After awhile you will be sent back to Kingdom 1 with a pie, where you will then drop the pie at the King's feet. My recommendation is to just send everyone over there who is level 3 or higher except for Peasants. I was successful with a high level Craftsman.
There is information all over the place as to what will work; but the best thing to do is just let everyone have a whack at it. Wait to do this until after you have retrieved the Wizard's hat as you will need the same stone bridge. You will need to build a Wizard's Hut and employ a Wizard.
Have the Wizard remove the 2 blue stones by the ruins. Have a soldier remove the vines covering the ruins. Have a Craftsman repair the ruins. There are only 2 Blue Stones in Kingdom 1 see blue triangles. It's a good idea to go ahead and start leveling up your villagers as soon as you are able. You will want at least one craftsman. Several subquests require wood resources, so build a lumber camp and staff it as soon as you are able. At one point you will need to collect bird eggs and bird feathers.
As soon as you have an archer, you can start shooting birds, but don't pick up the eggs or feathers until you are asked for them. You will also be asked to trade 25 food for something, so build a tower as soon as you are able. Having more peasants than are initially present will make collecting items far more convenient and efficient later on.
The Captured Soldier quest is not required. You can get past the fishing village by building an archery and leveling up your own soldiers if you prefer. Talking to them unlocks Captured Soldier. Move hero to the merchant and talk to him to unlock Dam the River. Defeat the group of barbarians in the north. You do not need to build Barracks. Just send the Hero to the Barbarian Camp and then walk away to cull out the leader to fight him alone.
The Hero may die a few times, but will be able to win this battle. Then attack the two other Barbarians. Send a Craftsman to free the Archer trapped in the cage. Buy Stone Dam Design--Talk to the merchant to get him to offer you a stone dam design for 25 food. Build a Wooden Tower to save up enough food. Find Location for Dam by moving the hero to the narrowest part of the river. See the black circles. You will need to build 2 quarries where the stars are, but the rest can just be hacked away at.
Place Stone Blocks where the red arrow is. Build the Stone Dam. Collect bird eggs and feathers for the trader. After you purchase the plans, you can unlock the bridge in the store menu, then you can build the bridge and head to Kingdom Two.
The one on the left needs to have someone break through the stone. Open the drawbridge. A mix of deputies and gunslingers works best. When you hear about a group of banditos camped outside of town, you can send out a posse to round them up. You fighters will automatically being firing at the bandits when they are in range. Bandits will only chase you so far before they give up and leave you alone.
Eventually you will have to build a saloon in your peaceful town. You must have a saloon in order to hire gunslingers, plus your hard working citizens will want to kick back and have some fun. The saloon will keep your population happy, but you may end up with a few drunks wandering the streets.
There are two ways to handle the town drunks. A deputy can toss him in the pokey until he sobers up. Or, once you have built a church, a kindhearted citizen can drag the drunk to church and he will reform. Do note however that when purchasing bundles containing multiple games such as this one, the two hour time limit refers to how much you played all the games in total. So for example, if you played Westward 1 for two hours, you can no longer refund 2 or 3 either.

Help his brother get him out of there lickety split! Once you free the miner, he is going to need some food and water. Give him 5 water and 10 food to help revive him. Then the only thing left to do is build them a house, a gold mine, and put them boys to work! Rebuilding the Train Station Now that you have a lumber mill, a gold mine, and a coal mine, you're just about ready to rebuild the train station and get it up and running again.
Gather the needed supplies. This is also a good time to walk around and explore your little bit of earth and see what extra goodies you can find. You'll need 50 pieces of coal and pieces of wood to start your repairs.
In Need of Supplies Around this time, a couple of outsiders will show up at your town. Their town is starving and they need food and wood right away. If you get them what they need, they will pay you gold.
You need to collect 30 food and wood. This can be a serious drain on your resources so be careful you don't put your own town in jeopardy. Extra Help When the train comes rattling into town, on it are your brother Henry and the Brumble brothers. They are looking for work, but not just any job will do. Hoff wants to be a gold miner, and his brother wants to farm anything but radishes.
Now, the gold mine is easy enough to employ the one brother at, but you need to purchase the tomato and corn upgrades in the store page before you can grow anything but radishes on your farm.
You may want to also upgrade to a larger farm so you can harvest three rows of crops instead of two. Railroad Bypass In order to expand the railroad, Anne has to travel to the next spot on the map. Unfortunately, this area is overrun with bandits who keep blowing up the tracks. They've holed up right where the train tracks should go and no one can get by them. So now Anne has to come in and build the tracks around the bandit camp. But it's not going to be easy.
First things first. Gather up your supplies. Then talk to the lumber jack, feed em 15 pieces of food, and then put him to work.
There's a berry bush near the shop, so don't worry about running out of food in the beginning. Just have Anne pick some berries and you'll be fine. From there, it's time to set up base.
Build a well, a farm, and some houses to bring in workers. In the north part of the map is a gold mine. In the east is a coal mine. Get them up and running so you have a steady supply of resources pouring into your town. You'll probably also want to build another lumber mill as the one you have won't last long. Thinking ahead will help you avoid any issues later on.
Now, also in the north, right by the coal mine, is a blockade of boulders. Blast this with some dynamite, and you now have a hired gun to help Anne with the bandit issue. Hire a worker to lay down the tracks while Anne and the hired gun guard the rail's progress. Or if you just want to get rid of the problem once and for all Once those bandits are out of the way, it's easy peasy getting the rest of the track laid.
The hidden object on this board is also yours for the taking now. Just grab some sticks of dynamite and walk through the water toward the railroad bridge.
Blow up the boulders blocking the ramp and walk north to claim your prize. Noise Ordinance Moving right along As you move to the next part of the map to lay the next set of tracks you find that there is of all things It appears the mayor of the town needs to fall asleep in the middle of the street Anyhow, the only way to finish the project is to get super TNT.
But that's across the bandit strewn countryside Grab a worker and head out into danger, although it is possible to get through without a fight. Watch the bandits closely. When they begin to move away from you, move toward the left side of the map. Pick up any supplies you find and keep moving, staying to the left.
Once you get to the area where the explosives are, leave your worker to mine that section of gold and head north. There you will find three gunslingers who will come in handy on the way back. Hire them! If you don't have enough money, employ your worker at the trade store and sell some wood for gold. When you have all three, now you are ready to head back to town.
Of course, in all honesty, you don't really need these guys It's really not hard to sneak past the bandits The hidden object on this board is back over by the explosives and you may want to take a gunslinger or two with you. Cross the bridge and walk into the stream and then come back up on the other side. Walk north, until you find two bandits. Shoot em and then take the hidden object Woodinville Finally, you reached the next town, except of course, they have a problem.
They have run out of wood to harvest and they need help. They have to upgrade their lumber mill so they can reach the rest of the few trees they have yet to plunder. Walk around and gather all of the wood you can find. If you see any rats, shoot them.
And not just because I don't like rats When you have collected enough wood, you will be able to upgrade your lumber mill. And there was much rejoicing Once you have upgraded the lumber mill, it's a lot easier to harvest wood. Once you have enough, it's time to build a bridge to the other side of the town where there are a lot more trees left to kill Oh well, once you're over there, you'll find two hungry people. Feed them and then put them to work. Build your first lumber mill and employ it and then build a well and farm quickly in order to keep everyone fed.
From here on out When you have enough resources to build another bridge, build one on the west side of your new island area. There you'll find two more able bodied workers to employ at your mills. Build your second mill.
There are several gold mines around that will also come in handy. Don't bother with the one on the west side There was instead one right where you started the map and another just to the south of the main island. This should supply you with enough gold to complete the board. The third bridge needs to be built right by the little pond with fish in it and the small crate.
You'll have to go walk in the water for a bit to come out on this side of the river. Again, once you get across, build another lumber mill and then a house to get people to work the last mill. There's really nothing much to it Oh and if you want to find that hidden object It's just north of the tracks on the east side of the map.
